Dr. Felicia Maresca is a highly experienced and compassionate general dentist with over three decades of service to the Waldorf and La Plata communities. She is known for her thoughtful, integrative approach to dental care, combining advanced clinical training with a deep appreciation for whole-body wellness.
A graduate of West Virginia University, where she majored in chemistry, Dr. Maresca earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She went on to complete her hospital-based dental residency at University Hospital in Baltimore, where she further refined her skills in complex diagnosis and comprehensive patient care.
Dr. Maresca provides a full range of general dental services, with special expertise in airway-focused dentistry, TMJ disorder management, and sleep apnea treatment. She is a certified provider of DenMat Lumineers, the DNA appliance, and is trained in the use of oxygen/ozone therapy—blending the best of traditional and holistic care. Her approach emphasizes not just oral health, but the interconnectedness of breathing, sleep, and total wellness.
Outside of the office, Dr. Maresca enjoys yoga, exploring Eastern and Western approaches to health, and spending time with her two daughters, a therapist and a teacher, and her grandson, who keeps her smiling. A devoted animal lover, she shares her home with two beloved rescue dogs. Her ideal day? One filled with laughter, sunshine, and maybe a long walk on the beach.
